The vision of SSAHWS pursues to be a cultural portal in which people can connect to share history, share their contemporary experiences and values that acknowledges andexpands African Americans knowledge in such a way that it builds a common historical ground.

The mission of SSAHWS
is to assemble, conserve, explore, educate and empower the knowledge of who African Americans truly are. It is to engage the youth and adults to be inspired and discovery-driven, as they learn about various African Americans experiences that are exhibited on display in Winston-Salem, and throughout the state of North
The mission of SSAHWS
is to assemble, conserve, explore, educate and empower the knowledge of who African Americans truly are. It is to engage the youth and adults to be inspired and discovery-driven, as they learn about various African Americans experiences that are exhibited on display in Winston-Salem, and throughout the state of North-Carolina. To fulfilling its mission, SSAHWS seeks to invite and engage visitors of every race, background and age to participate and explore our SSAHWS museum.
Our focus is to have individuals to engage and participate in learning of our Afro -American experiences. To be intrigued as our story is spoken upon the listening ears of not just people of color, but people of all colors. As a result, the stories and exhibitions that SSAH will bring to Winston-Salem, North-Carolina are about the incontestable fact that our experiences is a unique one, in which it has never been shown nor told quite like this and it has a unique way that will impacted numerous races, genders and ethnicities, so join in and be amazed.
